Achtung! Links zu beiden und Inhaltsbeschreibungen beider: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08XNDNRKP/ref=sr\_1\_4?\_\_mk\_de\_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=kim+weston+barks&qid=1614533108&sr=8-4 The Complete Carl Barks Index Supplemental Readings is a profusely illustrated book of new articles and essays on Carl Barks and various aspects of his life and work. It is intended to be a companion to The Complete Carl Barks Index, and to update and supplement various chapters in that book. This book includes new research, and other material by, about, or related to Barks’ work which is not generally well known. While it is mostly new information and research, it also corrects errors discovered after publication of the earlier book. **** Illustrations are not listed in the contents, but there are numerous illustrations, some color, some black and white. Many are taken from the original art, including two recently discovered and unfamiliar panels by Barks, cut before publication in the original comic books. One reproduced in the size it was drawn, and both are also printed in typical printed comic book print size. Other reproductions from original art include 4 original storyboard/script splash pages (an Uncle Scrooge, a Donald Duck, and 2 Junior Woodchucks), and a very early blue penciled but uncompleted Donald Duck page (reproduced, reduced, as the full page, and also as individual panels full size as drawn). The storyboard/scripts were drawn on 12 inch (30.5 cm) sheets of paper, but are reproduced about 10 inches (25.3 cm) tall. The script pages look very good in black and white and much better in color. **** The book was designed with a color interior in mind, but color printing is much more expensive than black and white. This all black and white Direct Sales Edition is also available at a lower price than the color version (available in another listing). All the articles are the same and the pictures are, too, except for the lack of color. So all the information is the same in either edition, but the more expensive color version does a better job of reproducing the art whether it is in color or black and white. https://www.amazon.de/Complete-Barks-Index-Supplemental-Readings/dp/B08WZCCXYG/ref=sr\_1\_5?\_\_mk\_de\_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=kim+weston+barks&qid=1614533504&sr=8-5 The Complete Carl Barks Index Supplemental Readings is a profusely illustrated book of new articles and essays on Carl Barks and various aspects of his life and work. Ah ja, wenn man die Buchrückseiten anklickt, steht auf dem billigen "Direct Sales Edition. Black and White interior" und auf dem teuren "Regular Edition. Color interior".
